That particular one neither of us lived in, we just rented it out, then sold it 6 7 years later for a lot more. After that, I rented for another 5 years, as I had cheap rent. Then I bought a foreclosure for next to nothing in yet another city. Again, it was the situation at the time. It was so much cheaper than renting then that it made no sense to rent. Then I moved for a job in San Diego. The rent there was ridiculous, but prices were not that bad, so I bought again and owned two small condos in two different cities at the same time. Then my job moved, so I sold the San Diego condo for a good profit and am now living in the other one (Phoenix.) The market is really taking off here, so in about a year, I sell this place too, hopefully for close to 3X what I paid, and just go back to renting for a while. To answer your “how did I buy” question, the first place was a traditional mortgage with 20% down. The foreclosure was cash. The third place was again traditional mortgage with 20% down.

I could find the list of compatible phones and mp3 players so much easier. With this new website design, I was able to find the link to check compatibility of a phone but not one for mp3 players. I know that an iPod touch will work with it because I have an iPod touch and it works with sync. The only thing I can tell you to do is plug it into the USB port on the vehicle and see if it works.
Focus STs are WAAAAY more fun than a 328i, and they sold brand new for less than 24k. Find a lightly used one for 15k and get way more practicality from it due to it being a hatch. Will also come with significantly lower insurance payments and exponentially less in maintenance costs. You can go less practical with a Mazda MX 5, those are fun as hell. I could go on, but I have a feeling that recommending other cars isn going to convince you.

A big sticking point for many people coming from higher end brands is the interior of Teslas. BMW could make a decent EV with a more traditional interior. Another is service. While Tesla does have the service vans getting stuff fixed at service centres does seem to be a challenge for some people. BMW could compete there.
